Pegaso's Cayetano Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Bălace in the 4th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Jarbas Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisc Ghionescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Toader Bălace left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fermin Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Bălace, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gică Jula who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Cayetano Fanuco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilber McDonald got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th minute, Wilber McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Jerold. The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Deunoro in the 39th minute of play. The throw-in from Horia Boerescu in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pegaso's Alfredo Piboon. In the 42nd minute, Sorin Răduța had to leave the field with a concussion. Fermin Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Fermin Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Valar the free kick. The Valar made a substitution. Constantin Ţopescu replaced Sorin Răduța. In the 43rd match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fermin Deunoro made the kick off in the second half. Fermin Deunoro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 54th minute, Fermin Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pegaso defense, Olimpiu Postelnicescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Fanuco. The Pegaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Fanuco should have stopped the shot. Vintilă Coroian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cayetano Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Horia Boerescu in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pegaso's Alfredo Piboon. The supporters of Pegaso booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Becheanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Deunoro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Francisc Ghionescu 81 minutes into the match. Fermin Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Postelnicescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the The Valar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
