After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Lucas Machado got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PoleStarIV's zone, Lionel Castañon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Şefik Zeynelabidin came out of the goal and Lionel Castañon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Angel Quezada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mehmet Şefik Zeynelabidin, 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Hector Danel in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PoleStarIV's Ahmet Hakan Kadir. Angel Quezada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Şefik Zeynelabidin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ege Yura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Elixio having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, PoleStarIV's goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Zeynelabidin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lionel Castañon. Santa Fe played a much better game than PoleStarIV and deserved their victory. The PoleStarIV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
