If Gică Jula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Restu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Gandalf Grey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Silbestre. Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute, The Valar's Olimpiu Postelnicescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Olimpiu Postelnicescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Bălace in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Melquiades Lamberto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Marin Brătescu got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Valar's zone, Cristian Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Ghionescu came out of the goal and Cristian Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Toader Bălace got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Bălace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of The Valar booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gandalf Grey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Silbestre. Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute Olimpiu Postelnicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Toader Bălace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Toader Bălace hit a great ball. Cristian Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Gică Jula hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Olimpiu Postelnicescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Silbestre saved Esmeralda AFC from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Rufo to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Gandalf Grey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Silbestre skillfully saved the ball.
