The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xepe Gandia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Andberg in the 10th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Anabolic Boys's Viktor Josefsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xepe Gandia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xepe Gandia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Bergström in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Fredrik Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xepe Gandia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmie Bergström in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xepe Gandia saved Downchester City from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Josefsson in the 27th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xepe Gandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Armando Aceves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Anabolic Boys booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepito Sacristán didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes, Anabolic Boys's Jimmie Bergström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xepe Gandia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Downchester City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fredrik Bollström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over Anabolic Boys could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Downchester City throughout the match.
