Xanti Jareño started the match with the kick off. Xepe Gandia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martín Ríos went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 9 minutes, Hector Pinilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Roque FC and the Downchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hector Pinilla kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Josep Odín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Romel Villarreal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match San Roque FC got a corner. Downchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Garcia De Paredes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes into the game, Milton Morales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Roque FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Downchester City the free kick. In the 18th match minute, San Roque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milton Morales to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Xanti Jareño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Downchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xanti Jareño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Martín Ríos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xepe Gandia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 24 played minutes Rolando Spadafora rounded Downchester City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Pinilla got free with Xepe Gandia in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Echavarri to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Agustin Garcia De Paredes in the 34th minute really tested Xepe Gandia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Hector Pinilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xepe Gandia. Downchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Pinilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Romel Villarreal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xanti Jareño in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to San Roque FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jorge Carrera hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Pinilla in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xepe Gandia prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Downchester City's Xepe Gandia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Spadafora in the 51st minute of play. Xepe Gandia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Pinilla in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ríos in the 55th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes San Roque FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romualdo Echavarri who took care of the corner kick. Downchester City's Romualdo Echavarri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romel Villarreal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pepito Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xepe Gandia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ríos in the 65th minute of the match. Xepe Gandia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Roque FC had won after a very even match.
