The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casimiro Bihar might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Quintanilha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Bihar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fabricio Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Aristides Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Bihar struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuperChango. Humberto Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Octávio Aleixo came free, but Humberto Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Leheren hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Humberto Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Igrejas in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Bihar got free with Jacinto Quintanilha in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Quintanilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Bihar in the 29th minute of the match. Humberto Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Igrejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, SuperChango's Maximiliano Aureo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Quintanilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute of the game Filinto Vides made a throw-in which Octávio Aleixo played forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomé Igrejas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Casimiro Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperChango's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Quintanilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Bihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Sporting Clube de Gaya got a freekick which was hit by Aparício Linhares. Casimiro Bihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Casimiro Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Quintanilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Sporting Clube de Gaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Igrejas to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Unax to maneuver through the defense. Octávio Aleixo's shot from long distance in the 72nd minute was not bad at all, but SuperChango's Humberto Sotero knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 76 played minutes SuperChango got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Leheren. 80 minutes into the match, Casimiro Bihar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha. Jacinto Quintanilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olívio Amaro got free with Humberto Sotero in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Fabricio Unax got a free kick in the 87th minute. Octávio Aleixo's shot from long distance in the 88th minute was not bad at all, but SuperChango's Humberto Sotero knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 91 minutes, Filinto Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube de Gaya and the SuperChango players grew even worse after the yellow card. SuperChango were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Clube de Gaya for a fine match.
