Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomé Igrejas kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Igrejas in the 10th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pau Covillas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Quintanilha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pau Covillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Almarza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Pau Covillas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Quintanilha. Quinito Folch hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Tomé Igrejas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte. Manoel Loarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignacio Capdevila lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Pau Covillas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montevideo City Torque's protests and gave Pau Covillas a yellow card for diving instead. Pau Covillas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Branco in the 42nd minute of play. Manoel Loarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomé Igrejas went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Tomé Igrejas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel Loarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Pau Covillas made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Branco came free, but Manoel Loarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Jeremiah St. Juste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Loarte came out of the goal and Jeremiah St. Juste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Manoel Loarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Pau Covillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Tomé Igrejas made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 70 minutes into the match, Olívio Amaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olívio Amaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Montevideo City Torque's Pau Covillas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Pau Covillas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes, Lisandro Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube de Gaya and the Montevideo City Torque players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manoel Loarte made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tomé Igrejas sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Quintanilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pau Covillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Covillas came free, but Jacinto Quintanilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Lisandro Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Pau Covillas. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Clube de Gaya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
