The audience was convinced that Stoycho Stamboliyski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofyane Valognes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Grégory Castello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bone Boyadzhiyski having to interfere. When Stoycho Stamboliyski fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Boyko Tuevski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot.
