The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oséias de Castro scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Wanderson dos Santos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte. Eric Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Saraiva came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by LinuX F.C.'s Alberto Matarrita. But to his dismay, Alberto Matarrita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mukifus FSCMZ's Marcos Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mukifus FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. Eric Duarte came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Wanderson dos Santos. But to his dismay, Wanderson dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Lendaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson dos Santos came free, but Eric Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho de Godoi in the 38th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Wanderson dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Keylor Cubero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LinuX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mukifus FSCMZ the free kick. In the 47th minute, Keylor Cubero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Duarte came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Wanderson dos Santos. But to his dismay, Wanderson dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
Adolfo Alpizar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho de Godoi got free with Eric Duarte in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mukifus FSCMZ's Zé Lendaa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Duarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wanderson dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Eric Duarte made a huge save. Marcos Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Matarrita in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte got control of the ball when Zé Lendaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beto Aguilar charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Aguilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. Eric Duarte was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antônio Carlos Tróia. LinuX F.C.'s Keylor Cubero got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Lendaa got free with Eric Duarte in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson dos Santos in the 70th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Nery Echeverria got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Alberto Matarrita hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte got control of the ball when Wanderson dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson dos Santos in the 78th minute. LinuX F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Wanderson dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Eric Duarte, making the score, 1-6. After some careless play in the LinuX F.C. defense, Diguinho de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Duarte. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Duarte should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Diguinho de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Duarte made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Wanderson dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Zé Lendaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to LinuX F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Reynaldo Lankaster hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Wanderson dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Eric Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson dos Santos in the 98th minute of the match. The LinuX F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mukifus FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Mukifus FSCMZ.
