Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Wilhelm Askelöf started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Garcia in the 2nd minute of play forced Stardust Unicorns XI's goalkeeper Manfred Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Bock might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enéas Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Bock ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilhelm Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Enéas Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilhelm Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enéas Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Erik Martinsson in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Stardust Unicorns XI got a corner. Tirense F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolf Larsfält ran over to the corner to take the kick. Per-Erik Martinsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 24th minute, Aaron Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Garcia scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfred Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Tirense F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Manfred Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Cunha in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Wilhelm Askelöf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enéas Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karl-Erik Dahlberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gilberto Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Wallin having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Lindsten to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Alvin Lindsten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stardust Unicorns XI and the Tirense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stardust Unicorns XI's Alvin Lindsten got a free kick in the 68th minute. Manfred Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Cunha in the 70th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Valdo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Rudolf Larsfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Larsfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willian Cunha got free with Manfred Wallin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stardust Unicorns XI were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
