The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Ieltxu hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Castro came free, but Generoso Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias de Castro in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Wanderson dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Félix hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Isidoro Tuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Saraiva having to interfere. Mukifus FSCMZ's Marcos Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mukifus FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Generoso Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Generoso Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antônio Carlos Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mukifus FSCMZ's protests and gave Antônio Carlos Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias de Castro in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Wanderson dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Generoso Nabar came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Wanderson dos Santos. But to his dismay, Wanderson dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Lendaa to make the kick off. Osvaldo Kaxen scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wanderson dos Santos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 61st playminute. 65 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goalkeeper Generoso Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Lendaa. After 71 minutes, Zé Lendaa made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. La Mazorca's Generoso Nabar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson dos Santos got free with Generoso Nabar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Veto charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Veto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mukifus FSCMZ booed when La Mazorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson dos Santos came free, but Generoso Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mukifus FSCMZ booed when La Mazorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Rene Veto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A hard shot 94 in the game by Zé Lendaa from a close distance when the talented Generoso Nabar managed to make a qualified save. La Mazorca's players were relieved. The Mukifus FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mukifus FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
