Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) PIRATAS TFP's Alexandre da Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. In the 23rd minute, Emilio Esposito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alexandre da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save PIRATAS TFP from getting a goal against them. Ercole Briganti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Longo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre da Cunha in the 36th minute of play. Comunardo Longo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercole Briganti during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fiume Veneto booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedrão Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PIRATAS TFP's protests and gave Pedrão Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Pedrão Velasco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Comunardo Longo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's Dito Donatello. But to his dismay, Dito Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13.
