Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basílio Mazza kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Mauro Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Luizão de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vale Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Lluterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Luizão de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Monte in the 19th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Chaime in the 23rd minute. Los up up's Guaberto Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão de Amorim in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Basílio Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Lluterio was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Guaberto Lluterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão de Amorim went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Vale Verde were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los up up's Guaberto Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão de Amorim in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Los up up's goalkeeper Guaberto Lluterio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Mazza. In the 62nd minute Moisés Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los up up's Cristobal Chaime got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ramiro Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Damião's late challenge caught a Los up up's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Damião helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vale Verde's Diego Damião got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Los up up booed when Vale Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Luizão de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Luizão de Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Lluterio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Vale Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vale Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
