The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, México Eterno MZC's Edu Marinho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edu Marinho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of México Eterno MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edu Marinho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of México Eterno MZC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.C. Ferrari:s goal. S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after México Eterno MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filipe Souza took the corner. Aníbal Furlan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Rui de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Ferrari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Rui de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Meira was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After the first half S.C. Ferrari were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ferrari's Rui de Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With a little luck, México Eterno MZC's Kauan Meira got control of the ball when Christian Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in México Eterno MZC's zone, Filipe Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Meira came out of the goal and Filipe Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui de Lima in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when México Eterno MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. México Eterno MZC's Kauan Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save México Eterno MZC from getting a goal against them. When S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima, in the 86th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Ferrari. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui de Lima got free with Kauan Meira in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
