When Vassilis Tournas fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabachana F.C.'s protests and gave Vassilis Tournas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of JK Shefid booed when Tabachana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Tournas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aivo Jomm kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Härmo Roovik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tilemachos Manouselis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as JK Shefid's Kiur Veetamm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tilemachos Manouselis. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Lambis Savvakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JK Shefid's Erik Väärtnõu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Tournas in the 19th minute of play. When Thomas Okkas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tabachana F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Okkas couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes JK Shefid got a freekick which was hit by Mart Aulik. Stergios Siontis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stergios Siontis's late challenge caught a JK Shefid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stergios Siontis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Stergios Siontis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tabachana F.C.'s zone, Kiur Veetamm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tilemachos Manouselis came out of the goal and Kiur Veetamm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes of play, Tabachana F.C.'s Stergios Siontis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Väärtnõu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Stergios Siontis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Väärtnõu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Erik Väärtnõu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Tournas in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukas Panagiotopoulos in the 46th minute of play forced JK Shefid's goalkeeper Erik Väärtnõu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiur Veetamm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erik Väärtnõu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukas Panagiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match, Vassilis Tournas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Väärtnõu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Loukas Panagiotopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aivo Jomm kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Stergios Siontis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erik Väärtnõu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, JK Shefid's Erik Väärtnõu got control of the ball when Lambis Savvakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stergios Siontis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Väärtnõu was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Loukas Panagiotopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Loukas Panagiotopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After a rather tough play, Tabachana F.C.'s Stelios Giotidis got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match, Lambis Savvakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erik Väärtnõu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tabachana F.C. played a much better game than JK Shefid and deserved their victory. The JK Shefid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
