Honorato Benino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Knight Of Dawn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Florencio Sarmiento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Benino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner. Florencio Sarmiento went to the cornerflag to take it. 29 minutes into the game, Bernabe Tulio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Manilan. Bernabe Tulio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Mambru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knight Of Dawn the free kick. After 43 minutes, Rafael Caitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knight Of Dawn and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Rafael Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Poncio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Honorato Benino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Elazar's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Elazar was the one to do the kick off. Knight Of Dawn were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Sarmiento de Resistencia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Poncio took the corner. After 59 minutes, Rodrigo Poncio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knight Of Dawn and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Siro Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Honorato Benino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Berdaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Knight Of Dawn players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
