The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvig Björk got free with Sergiu Angheluță in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Falkrans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Ozon in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ludvig Björk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludvig Björk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ekman in the 44th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, David Ekman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hamneskär's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Ekman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cazimir Zăraşcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Hamneskär getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ludvig Björk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Palm in the 56th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Hamneskär's Ludvig Björk got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bérenger Petančič kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, FC Hamneskär was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Siggman to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Falkrans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cazimir Zăraşcu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Ludvig Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Rolf Palm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hamneskär fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, FC Hamneskär's Bérenger Petančič got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes, Eduard Ghișe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the FC Hamneskär players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Eduard Ghișe got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sergiu Angheluță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Hamneskär's Rickard Falkrans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Vâlcu in the 85th minute of play. Lucas Siggman charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Siggman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cazimir Zăraşcu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Rickard Falkrans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If David Ekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Hamneskär fans cheered their team off the field, for while Champions Iasi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
