Jaime Quilino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha Gonçalves during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Kikemania FC's Niceto Daunte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Fabinho Vinhas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Quilino. Kikemania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jorge Artaldo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco de Castro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Salvador Garaona could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Ismael de Carvalho however easily saved by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafinha Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Quilino was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Nando Moreno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nando Moreno really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When Carolo Senen came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kikemania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Senen couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Carolo Senen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Carolo Senen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Nando Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
