Saturnino Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Senen having to interfere. Nunez Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Filomeno Atarrabi made a huge save. In the 28th minute Saturnino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Bastia. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC FUSION's Marco Lorien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filomeno Atarrabi. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Bastia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rollo Kildemose during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Gonsalve's late challenge caught a A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Gonsalve helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Gonsalve. In the 83rd match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Lando to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Senen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnaldo Furlan. Nunez Arias took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Atarrabi. Filomeno Atarrabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
