Ted Igelström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufemio Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florián Badilla in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Igelström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play, Eleven Nation Army's Thor Lundgren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Angel Andreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Thor Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FSX UNITED's Florián Badilla in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eleven Nation Army's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Xavier Angel Andreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FSX UNITED defense, Jan-Olof Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Angel Andreu. The FSX UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Angel Andreu should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florián Badilla in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Igelström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Zambrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Roland Brenner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FSX UNITED's Xavier Angel Andreu didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet as Florián Badilla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ted Igelström. That made the score 2-1 in the 71 minute of play. Ted Igelström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florián Badilla in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Ted Igelström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florián Badilla. Florián Badilla in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ted Igelström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Eleven Nation Army getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Thor Lundgren hit a great ball. Ted Igelström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florián Badilla in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Florián Badilla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ted Igelström. The goal made the score 2-2. After 87 minutes, Ivar Ståhlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleven Nation Army and the FSX UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card.
