With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Blomqvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Di Nino saved S.S.C. NAPOLI from getting behind. Frank Carlucci came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fritz Bållström could save by the left post. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Bianco Giannico got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fritz Bållström was a little too slow when Anselmo Costantino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Sannegården BK booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Longo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludwig Lundin to make the kick off. A collision led to Sannegården BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jim Åberg hit a great ball. Michael Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carter Di Nino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Anselmo Costantino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Costantino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludwig Lundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Sundström got free with Carter Di Nino in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carter Di Nino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Lundin in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Michael Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Di Nino was a little too slow when Ludwig Lundin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. When Arrigo Berardo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.S.C. NAPOLI's protests and gave Arrigo Berardo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.S.C. NAPOLI getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Arrigo Berardo hit a great ball. When Andréas Kleen fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ludwig Lundin in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carter Di Nino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anselmo Costantino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino got control of the ball when Ludwig Lundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sannegården BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
