Armando Barone took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Leão. Ramón Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ramón Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Carlucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Laércio Valle succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. Ramón Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Barone in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of S.S.C. NAPOLI booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Vicente de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Carter Di Nino. S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 62nd minute, Armando Barone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Cristoforo Pacella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.S.C.
