Alejo Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Alejo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Expresso Ranelagh's Lucio Primeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of FC Hiiu Pallurid booed when Expresso Ranelagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Raimundo Austin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expresso Ranelagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hiiu Pallurid the free kick. In the 29th minute, Raimundo Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Lucio Primeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kiur Hea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kiur Hea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Primeiro in the 35th minute. Mariano Artaldo made a great header on Expresso Ranelagh's corner, it was just that FC Hiiu Pallurid's Kiur Hea managed to reach the ball for a save. After 44 minutes of play, FC Hiiu Pallurid's Tom Astuja made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Senio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ants Ruut made the kick off in the second half. The Expresso Ranelagh fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Expresso Ranelagh's Lucio Primeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raimundo Austin was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Tiit Lepist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Senio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ants Ruut sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Aivar Aun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Senio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Tiit Lepist sent off a good shot on target. Many of FC Hiiu Pallurid's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Hiiu Pallurid may have spent more time on the ball, but Expresso Ranelagh were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
