The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Geraldo Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chester Bennington's protests and gave Geraldo Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Chester Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Giral, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rico Machin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Veiga in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pinto Caniego to maneuver through the defense. Lope Villandiego charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lope Villandiego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chester Bennington booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lope Villandiego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chester Bennington's Juvenal Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosepe Feito in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Feito came free, but Juvenal Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Lope Villandiego came free, but Juvenal Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Xosepe Feito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juvenal Valladares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute, Carqueja's Lope Villandiego dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Lope Villandiego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Juvenal Valladares made a huge save. Xosepe Feito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juvenal Valladares came out and tried to block the shot, but Xosepe Feito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 81st minute. 90 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's Reinaldo Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rico Machin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Bueno notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Carqueja's Rico Machin. Rico Machin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Chester Bennington supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carqueja's performance. The match ended with a win for Carqueja.
