The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Izel during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Izel. In the 8th minute of the match, Ruben Giral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benicio Gaitan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute, Carqueja's Xosepe Feito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Lope Villandiego reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benicio Gaitan. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 16th minute Godfredo Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Machin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Chale Combarros took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benicio Gaitan to make any attempt to save it. Fagildo Cases charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fagildo Cases the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fagildo Cases to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Lope Villandiego dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 4-0. Benicio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chale Combarros went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 28 minutes of play, Carqueja's Lope Villandiego made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Chale Combarros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 7-0. Benicio Gaitan was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Lope Villandiego capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lope Villandiego really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. 43 minutes into the match, Aquilino Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rico Machin. Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorencio Ruelas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Gaitan. That made the score 9-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Catarinense F.C. defense, Lope Villandiego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Gaitan. The Catarinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. Benicio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lope Villandiego in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Faustino Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catarinense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rico Machin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Ruben Giral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carqueja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catarinense F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Catarinense F.C. booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Giral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rico Machin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Lope Villandiego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-1. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Catarinense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lope Villandiego, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute Lorencio Ruelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Gabon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kimetz Charro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lope Villandiego took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-1. 89 minutes into the game, Lope Villandiego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-1. Benicio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 95 minutes, Zacarias Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catarinense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
