Jonathan Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Patrick Linares hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Aritz Font shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caetano Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Pedro Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Éder Mota made a huge save. Xorxa F.C.'s Éder Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Linares in the 16th minute of play. Orti Alcantara scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caetano Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tino Mayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, Xorxa F.C.'s Orti Alcantara made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Xorxa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilixo Idiaquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, José Pedro Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curiphila Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 36th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Pires to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Tino Mayor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xorxa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tino Mayor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curiphila Eagles's Caetano Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orti Alcantara in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Orti Alcantara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xorxa F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Orti Alcantara scored 1-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute José Pedro Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éder Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Toni Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Sampaio came out of the goal and Toni Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tino Mayor in the 69th minute of the match. Caetano Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orti Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Caetano Sampaio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cacá de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Andres Berdaitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caetano Sampaio. Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Pedro Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Caetano Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tino Mayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Tino Mayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilixo Idiaquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Caetano Sampaio made a huge save. 1-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Ilixo Idiaquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Patrick Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Seco took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éder Mota. Éder Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnau Dagora got free with Caetano Sampaio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xorxa F.C. played a much better game than Curiphila Eagles and deserved their victory. The Curiphila Eagles players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
