In the 14th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Elbert Klerk came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Robustiano Clementi. But to his dismay, Robustiano Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Cebo stood somewhat misplaced when Belmiro Urtubia came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. 29 minutes into the game, Federico Insúa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quitilipi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Insúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Guaberto Cebo managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Osmar Motta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guaberto Cebo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Urtubia in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Rigoberto Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Belmiro Urtubia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Guaberto Cebo stood somewhat misplaced when Belmiro Urtubia came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Belmiro Urtubia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belmiro Urtubia to strike the kick off in the second half. Belmiro Urtubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Guaberto Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Ladislav Kašić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Cebo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Urtubia went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Florencio Hanni was substituted for Kruno Lišinović. 64 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Motta came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Belmiro Urtubia notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Insúa struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Urtubia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cebo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 81st play minutes Belmiro Urtubia shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Guaberto Cebo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd match minute, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Marčić to maneuver through the defense. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Motta in the 87th minute of play. Ladislav Kašić struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Guaberto Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GNK Dinamo Zagreb™. In the 90th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Urtubia in the 91st minute of play. Quitilipi's Federico Insúa pulled a muscle in his back after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Oton Mangafić charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oton Mangafić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oton Mangafić hit a great ball. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
