When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Máximo Viana sped through Revenge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. MEXACOMX's Alfredo Osório played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Baker in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Norberto Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijsbert Luikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Máximo Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Nuno Candeias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Candeias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Revenge's Gijsbert Luikens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Leite in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Gerben Saarberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Revenge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXACOMX the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerben Saarberg to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert Luikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Carlo Planting kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Leite in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gijsbert Luikens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rein Eggens hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Norberto Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gijsbert Luikens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Máximo Viana scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gijsbert Luikens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Osório showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Baker, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Harold Zwarthoet.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ab Bekker to make the kick off. With his leg Gijsbert Luikens managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when MEXACOMX's Norberto Leite fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Lucas Mexa got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes, Dimas Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEXACOMX and the Revenge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimas Camargo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Ab Bekker came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Revenge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ab Bekker couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Norberto Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Nuno Candeias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rein Eggens's late challenge caught a MEXACOMX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rein Eggens helped the player get up and apologised. MEXACOMX's Norberto Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jan Rein Klap put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Osório. Máximo Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gijsbert Luikens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ab Bekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Osório saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Baker came free, but Alfredo Osório reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Rein Klap didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Revenge's Jan Rein Klap made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Osório was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Dimas Camargo came free, but Gijsbert Luikens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Norberto Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gijsbert Luikens, 2-6.
