Casimiro Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Asplund, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Fredric Botvidsson scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Abad, making the score, 1-0. After 10 played minutes Discípulos de Ayn Rand got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Abeita. 13 minutes into the match, Samuel Asplund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casimiro Abad, 2-0. After 15 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Per Tunberg. Kurt Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Casimiro Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stormur Muren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Abella in the 23rd minute of play. Stormur Muren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Hurtado in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogerio Abenda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Fredric Botvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Botvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Botvidsson came free, but Casimiro Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mathias Lindman hit a great ball. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Hurtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stormur Muren having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Malte Siöberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casimiro Abad. Malte Siöberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malte Siöberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kurt Ahlerot made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Abad. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Per Tunberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kind of Blue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Discípulos de Ayn Rand the free kick. In the 59th minute, Per Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Käcker during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jens-Ove Käcker hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Kurt Ahlerot took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Abad. Casimiro Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Rafael Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stormur Muren having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play Kind of Blue's Per Tunberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Samuel Asplund hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Stormur Muren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Abeita in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Abella in the 86th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Stormur Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Malte Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stormur Muren was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Edwin Hurtado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edwin Hurtado really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Rafael Abella took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Stormur Muren to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Discípulos de Ayn Rand players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kind of Blue.
