The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Djura IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djura IFK's Vilhelm Samuelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Djura IFK from getting a goal against them. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vilhelm Samuelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by János Fazekas in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, János Fazekas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Nemes in the 17th minute of play forced Djura IFK's goalkeeper Vilhelm Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Samuelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from János Dala went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungarian Olympic's János Fazekas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vilhelm Samuelsson. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Vilhelm Samuelsson was a little too slow when János Fazekas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-0. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Tamás Lovas got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Hungarian Olympic getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Máté Berta hit a great ball. Máté Berta took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Samuelsson. Vilhelm Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 42 minutes into the match, Djura IFK's goalkeeper Vilhelm Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by János Fazekas. 43 minutes into the game, Máté Berta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Vilhelm Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute László Nemes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. János Fazekas was the one to do the kick off. László Nemes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 60th minute Máté Berta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Edelényi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Máté Berta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, János Fazekas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Vilhelm Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hungarian Olympic's György Edelényi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, János Fazekas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilhelm Samuelsson. Djura IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that János Fazekas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 80th minute, János Fazekas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Vilhelm Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Fazekas in the 86th minute of play. Djura IFK's Vilhelm Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Berta in the 87th minute of play. Vilhelm Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Edelényi in the 88th minute of play. When György Edelényi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungarian Olympic's protests and gave György Edelényi a yellow card for diving instead. György Edelényi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Vilhelm Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Fazekas in the 95th minute of play.
