In the 17th minute Benjamin Fischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Hybbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhammet Deflorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Askestät in the 18th minute of play. Folke Hybbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Kühne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BK Gubbhöft's Christopher Alkvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Stjepan Sozzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folke Hybbert. BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 minutes, Christopher Alkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Gubbhöft and the FC Triesenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Fischer hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Muhammet Deflorin was a little too slow when Josef Askestät got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Folke Hybbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Kühne in the 37th minute of play. Muhammet Deflorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Walroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Muhammet Deflorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Benet in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Ulf Andreasson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Gubbhöft's protests and gave Ulf Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. Ulf Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, FC Triesenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stjepan Sozzi to maneuver through the defense. FC Triesenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stjepan Sozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christof Schwitter charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christof Schwitter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Ulf Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Gubbhöft fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Bergdal came free, but Muhammet Deflorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. That made the score 2-1 in the 91 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Gubbhöft had won after a very even match.
