The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cougars FC's Angelino Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Miclauș in the 10th minute of play. Angelino Hegoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Miclauș went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Codruț Dindelegan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Justo Tohias. But to his dismay, Justo Tohias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Leontin Hosu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Zbârcea charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Zbârcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manole Zbârcea kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Ciordaș came free, but Angelino Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Ciordaș in the 38th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Angelino Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Angelino Hegoi threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horia Honcioiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Inocencio Bernabel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Cotuțiu in the 60th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Angelino Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Arnoldo Terciero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cougars FC and the Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cougars FC's Arnoldo Terciero got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Angelino Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Cotuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Angelino Hegoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Miclauș in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Justo Tohias came free, but Codruț Dindelegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Denis Cotuțiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cougars FC the free kick. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Cotuțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horia Honcioiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Angelino Hegoi made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goalkeeper Angelino Hegoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Miclauș. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Miclauș in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Hegoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manole Zbârcea hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Justo Tohias came free, but Codruț Dindelegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Horia Honcioiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelino Hegoi. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. The Cougars FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
