Ezequiel Gasteiz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.JORGOVAN's zone, Răzvan Miclovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Zondervan came out of the goal and Răzvan Miclovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half C.A.JORGOVAN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Fero came free, but Codruț Dindelegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Codruț Dindelegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.JORGOVAN. C.A.JORGOVAN's Victor Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Ciordaș in the 58th minute of play. Victor Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Miclovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Răzvan Miclovan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Victor Zondervan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Hosu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Zondervan saved C.A.JORGOVAN from getting behind. Victor Zondervan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Hosu went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Răzvan Miclovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Zondervan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Ciordaș in the 87th minute of the match.
