Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Almir Diamanti started the match with the kick off. Justo Tohias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's Justo Tohias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Haraldsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the I Rossoneri defense, Justo Tohias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Haraldsson. The I Rossoneri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Haraldsson should have stopped the shot. Cougars FC's Angelino Hegoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cougars FC from getting a goal against them. I Rossoneri's Sture Holm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelino Hegoi but with some difficulty. Angelino Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Oscar Lalla fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cougars FC's protests and gave Oscar Lalla a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Tohias in the 42nd minute of play forced I Rossoneri's goalkeeper Richard Haraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Hegoi was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Leonard Arvidsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Arvidsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Angelino Hegoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Koch in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Tohias to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Arvidsson in the 58th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Angelino Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Grep lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in I Rossoneri's zone, Orlando Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Haraldsson came out of the goal and Orlando Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Haraldsson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Justo Tohias. But to his dismay, Justo Tohias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fernando Belarmo hit a great ball. A collision led to I Rossoneri getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kent Ahlgren hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Almir Diamanti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cougars FC's Angelino Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Diamanti in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Almir Diamanti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Hegoi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by I Rossoneri's Hans Apelqvist. But to his dismay, Hans Apelqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 89 minutes of play, Cougars FC's Justo Tohias made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Haraldsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cougars FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
