With a little luck, Pucará's Leonides Aurken got control of the ball when Kevin Musu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Musu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Meerkats FC's Kevin Musu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Marcelino Alfonso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Meerkats FC's William Troisi. William Troisi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meerkats FC! Meerkats FC:s William Troisi showed great skill when he stopped Horacio Rey:s penalty. In the 42nd match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zach Gerada to maneuver through the defense. When Leonard Calleja came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Calleja couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Alfonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Alfonso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of William Troisi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Calleja couldn't finish the play. Pucará's Ariel López was substituted for Marcelino Alfonso. William Troisi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel López in the 77th minute.
