Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Poz in the 22nd minute of play. Silvério Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Toninho Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Academia Militar MZ's Tomás Cearense got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Tomás Cearense put in a rough tackle. In the 36th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Poz in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Jaime Mundo got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvério Netto. Silvério Netto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Silvério Netto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejo Louis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 84 minute of play. Leones FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Academia Militar MZ's much stronger midfield.
