After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Carter Anelli got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's goalkeeper Alfredo Scafati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolau Fagundes. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Cesário Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Biagio Tarantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesário Sanches having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolau Fagundes to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, AD Pontassolense's Cesário Sanches got control of the ball when Alessandro Angelucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Gagliano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Tarantini in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesário Sanches saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Nicolau Fagundes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Pontassolense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolau Fagundes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Angelucci got free with Cesário Sanches in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Tarantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when AD Pontassolense's Nicolau Fagundes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Biagio Tarantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Schirru kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
