Carlos-Alberto Urruchi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Geronimo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackblue United. Clemente Rameriz's late challenge caught a Blackblue United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Rameriz helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Rameriz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Erick Caicedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geronimo Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Blackblue United's Erick Caicedo got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play La Plata's Clemente Rameriz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to La Plata getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Clemente Rameriz hit a great ball. Carlos-Alberto Urruchi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Geronimo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackblue United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Amigo in the 43rd minute of play forced La Plata's goalkeeper Geronimo Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Maxin made a kick off. In the 54th minute Erick Caicedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, La Plata's Geronimo Abaurre got control of the ball when Timoteo Amigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Plata's Erubiel Hotz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Carlos-Alberto Urruchi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geronimo Abaurre firmly grabbed it by the left post. La Plata's Robustiano Gasteiz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matamba Puredo, made in the 86th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Erick Caicedo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Geronimo Abaurre to make any attempt to save it. Blackblue United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over La Plata's much stronger midfield.
