EL PEPO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Mannuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rami came free, but Melquiades Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Frans's late challenge caught a EL PEPO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Frans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quebracho FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Teo Frans hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Herauso in the 21st minute of play forced Quebracho FC's goalkeeper Paolo Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Melchor Celipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebracho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL PEPO FC the free kick. Melquiades Patxi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quebracho FC's Paolo Abastas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Quebracho FC from getting a goal against them. Rigoberto Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quebracho FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while EL PEPO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
