An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo De Vito in the 4th minute of play forced Blackblue United's goalkeeper Urbes Astera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Blackblue United defense, Arturo De Vito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbes Astera. The Blackblue United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbes Astera should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Arturo De Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Astera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Carloforte f.c. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Carloforte f.c.'s Arturo De Vito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Amigo in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Carloforte f.c. booed when Blackblue United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erick Caicedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Blackblue United's Urbes Astera got control of the ball when Arturo De Vito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blackblue United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ercole Marra 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. When Ercole Marra came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Marra couldn't finish the play. Arturo De Vito came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Urbes Astera could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Blackblue United's zone, Ercole Marra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbes Astera came out of the goal and Ercole Marra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danny Salz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ferdinando Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Bianco Mannucci sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blackblue United's Urbes Astera didn't even have to move. Carloforte f.c.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
