The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Czechia Hradec Králové got a freekick which was hit by Přemysl Hanzel. After a defensive mix-up in Czechia Hradec Králové's zone, Fernandinho Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Borůvka came out of the goal and Fernandinho Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalimil Kuzma kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Štefka came free, but Olavo Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czechia Hradec Králové's Ondřej Šenkeřík managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernandinho Paes in the 24 minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Anderson Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Renatinho Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Borůvka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Borůvka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Garcia in the 32nd minute of the match. Jan Borůvka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Garcia went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ondřej Šenkeřík could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Olavo Vasconcelos made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Czechia Hradec Králové was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslav Joch to maneuver through the defense. Jan Borůvka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Lucas in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Francisco Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czechia Hradec Králové's Jan Borůvka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Czechia Hradec Králové players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Desportiva Paulo Afonso were winning 0-2.

Jan Borůvka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Desportiva Paulo Afonso booed when Czechia Hradec Králové was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ondřej Šenkeřík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalimil Kuzma hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Sílvio Luís Lucas's late challenge caught a Czechia Hradec Králové's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luís Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Desportiva Paulo Afonso getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sílvio Luís Lucas hit a great ball. Ondřej Šenkeřík kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Sílvio Luís Lucas got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Ondřej Šenkeřík shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Vasconcelos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Czechia Hradec Králové's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ondřej Šenkeřík in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Czechia Hradec Králové's corner Ondřej Šenkeřík fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olavo Vasconcelos quite easily take care of the ball. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Olavo Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Štefka in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Garcia in the 74th minute of play forced Czechia Hradec Králové's goalkeeper Jan Borůvka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Borůvka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renatinho Braga in the 75th minute. In the 90th minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Francisco Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 95 minutes, Anderson Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportiva Paulo Afonso and the Czechia Hradec Králové players grew even worse after the yellow card.
