After 41 minutes, Alberto Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aracatiara EC and the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Andrade having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ricardo Urtats fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Urtats to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aracatiara EC's Paulo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Txanton in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Bernal came free, but Paulo Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jonathan Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
