Rodo's Olando Marty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero de Castro in the 24th minute of play. Ömer Şahin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Silas Bastos made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Blas Bolaños sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Şahin came free, but Olando Marty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Galvan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 52nd playminute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos Galvan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Olando Marty made a huge save.
