An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Juchno in the 10th minute of play forced Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Adam Grajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, WZG Sandomierz's Bogumil Waselewicz got control of the ball when Pawel Janiczek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Hieronim Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Janiczek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Ryszard Pluciennik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Oliszewski got free with Bogumil Waselewicz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 32 minutes on the clock, Pawel Marciewicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Boguslaw Biraga charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's zone, Roch Marosz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Grajewski came out of the goal and Roch Marosz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronim Plachetka took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Grajewski. Adam Grajewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Adam Grajewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Pluciennik, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. WZG Sandomierz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
