In the 16th minute, Luís Paulo de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Regis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to The Waldos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Senio to make the kick off. With a little luck, Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira got control of the ball when Moises Senio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led The Waldos's Blas-Armando Giunta to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Vieira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bernardino Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Juan Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Regis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Joachim during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Joachim. In the 68th minute, Bernardino Joachim fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Juan Vieira, passed just outside the right post. Juan Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Gonsalve lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of The Waldos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Relyn Futebol Clube:s goal. The Waldos:s Sergio Romero showed great skill when he stopped Laércio Vianna:s penalty. Laércio Vianna took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
