An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Ås in the 3rd minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Untte BK's zone, Egídio Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eilert Østmo came out of the goal and Egídio Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Untte BK's Eilert Østmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Untte BK from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertel Furre in the 13th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Untte BK's Øivind Ege. But to his dismay, Øivind Ege quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øivind Ege in the 19th minute of the match. Egídio Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eilert Østmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Øivind Ege made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Icoara Football Club were furious when Laércio das Neves was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Icoara Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Untte BK:s goal. The referee gave Untte BK a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bertel Furre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro. 0-3. In the 31st minute, Johan Malmedal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertel Furre in the 34th minute of play. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Malmedal in the 36th minute of play. Øivind Ege took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caetano Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertel Furre went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertel Furre to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Genílson de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icoara Football Club and the Untte BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. 59 minutes into the match, Bertel Furre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertel Furre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 65 minutes, Roger Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icoara Football Club and the Untte BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Bertel Furre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Untte BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 77 minutes into the match, Hans-Kristian Ås dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caetano Monteiro, 0-9. Eilert Østmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Lucas in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Untte BK's Trym Haugland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Malmedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Icoara Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Hans-Kristian Ås scored to the left of an out of position Caetano Monteiro, making the score, 0-11. Untte BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
