Alfredo Velazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Caetano Monteiro made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Belgrano de Pibasog's Tadeo Efren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Egídio Lucas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alfredo Passerini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Laércio das Neves hit a great ball. Alfredo Passerini struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Caetano Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. After 20 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfredo Passerini 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Efren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Alfredo Passerini fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caetano Monteiro, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Efren got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Monteiro was a little too slow when Tadeo Efren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-0. After 30th play minutes Alfredo Passerini shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Caetano Monteiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Andres Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Rosa in the 33rd minute of play. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Jara in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Tadeo Efren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caetano Monteiro. Tadeo Efren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Passerini was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Efren came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Compagnon got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Passerini made a kick off. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Tadeo Efren. But to his dismay, Tadeo Efren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Alfredo Velazquez sped through Icoara Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Pablo Gabrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Monteiro should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Passerini made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, Alfredo Velazquez made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Alfredo Jara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Passerini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Tadeo Efren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Efren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 80th minute, Egídio Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Valdo Lima hit a great ball. Adrian Faro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Caetano Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Jara in the 87th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Efren, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Efren in the 91st minute of play. Tadeo Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. Genílson de Queirós's late challenge caught a Belgrano de Pibasog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Alfredo Velazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal and Alfredo Velazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belgrano de Pibasog had played much better football throughout.
