Jonathan Olsen's late challenge caught a Capo de Provincia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Olsen helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Untte BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capo de Provincia:s goal. Eilert Østmo had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Saúl Tindall's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's Arnoldo Semir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eilert Østmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Semir to maneuver through the defense. Bertel Furre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Raúlo Davenport when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnoldo Semir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eilert Østmo having to interfere. Capo de Provincia's Arnoldo Semir got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertel Furres short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Raúlo Davenport to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 43 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Daniel Paillao. Raúlo Davenport made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bertel Furre sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Semir to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Untte BK's Odd Opsal got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Arnoldo Semir could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Eilert Østmo however easily saved by the left post. Arnoldo Semir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Eilert Østmo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hans-Kristian Ås took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúlo Davenport. Raúlo Davenport dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Untte BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertel Furre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliazar Evar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eilert Østmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capo de Provincia's Arnoldo Semir got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Daniel Paillao kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Saúl Tindall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Semir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eilert Østmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Arnoldo Semir struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Eilert Østmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capo de Provincia. In the 96th match minute, Untte BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amund Melby to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Eliazar Evar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capo de Provincia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliazar Evar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Untte BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capo de Provincia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
