In the 4th minute Wasyl Juchno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Plachetka came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Brasil during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Brasil to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Plachetka came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Waselewicz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Egídio Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Plachetka in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Negri to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Ryszard Pluciennik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caetano Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Zézinho de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Plachetka in the 21st minute of the match. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Juchno in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Wasyl Juchno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Ryszard Pluciennik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Caetano Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Pluciennik, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Juchno in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Wasyl Juchno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Juchno in the 41st minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Ryszard Pluciennik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Juchno took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Bogumil Japola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Monteiro should have stopped the shot. After the first half WZG Sandomierz were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Lucas was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ryszard Pluciennik took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Caetano Monteiro to make any attempt to save it. Caetano Monteiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Ksawery Borowski's late challenge caught a Icoara Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ksawery Borowski helped the player get up and apologised. Egídio Lucas took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogumil Waselewicz. Bogumil Waselewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. WZG Sandomierz's Hieronim Plachetka was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ryszard Pluciennik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogumil Waselewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hieronim Plachetkas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Caetano Monteiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Bogumil Japola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Caetano Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pluciennik in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Zézinho de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98thth minute of the game Hieronim Plachetka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
