Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raphael Beilmann started the match with the kick off. When Marius Proca fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Owls's protests and gave Marius Proca a yellow card for diving instead. Uffe Joder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Firoiu having to interfere. The Owls's Francisc Firoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uffe Joder in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Borussia Ostermoordorf booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Alecu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Olivier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Pordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Pordea in the 18th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Joachim Olivier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Proca to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Oka Bobbenkamp in the 22nd minute really tested Francisc Firoiu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Iulian Pordea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Joachim Olivier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Coporan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Iulian Pordea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Ostermoordorf's Joachim Olivier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Ursulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Owls's goalkeeper Francisc Firoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes The Owls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oka Bobbenkamp who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Borussia Ostermoordorf's Oka Bobbenkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisc Firoiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iulian Pordea made a kick off. Iulian Pordea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Joachim Olivier made a huge save. With a little luck, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Joachim Olivier got control of the ball when Iulian Pordea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Ursulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Olivier having to interfere. Francisc Firoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samon Hellrung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Marin Alucai got a free kick in the 66th minute. Raphael Beilmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samon Hellrung hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Coporan in the 78th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Joachim Olivier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Ursulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joachim Olivier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iulian Pordea in the 85th minute. Jean Rehm charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Rehm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jean Rehm hit a great ball. Iustin Chira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Rehm to maneuver through the defense. Alexandru Coporan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Joachim Olivier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Owls eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
